About the Role
The Latin America Security News Editor will oversee a team of writers covering security and government news for www.latinamericasecurityreport.com. Responsibilities include assigning and editing articles, ensuring timely and accurate coverage, and maintaining the publication's editorial standards. The editor will monitor regional developments, collaborate with correspondents, and contribute to strategic content planning to enhance readership and engagement.
Salary Range: $67,297 - $86,432
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, political science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of editorial experience, preferably in security or government reporting.
Strong understanding of Latin American political and security issues.
Excellent writing, editing, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
